QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT POLICY

We do commit ourselves to keep our position as a reliable international business partner, well-known due to its professionalism in fabrication of pressure equipment.

UZUC’s management team has introduced an Integrated Management System (SMI) of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management.

The Integrated Management System represents a logical and systematic approach, within the framework of it are taken the best strategically and functionally decisions, considering all essential aspects which lead to efficient functioning of company and also to compliance with the requirements for quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management.

The main objectives of SC UZUC SA are:

• to manufacture products according to customer and applicable standards requirements;
• to prevent environment pollution through minimizing the consumptions, emissions and wastes resulted from all activities performed in company and by internal procedures to meet the local legislation valid for environmental protection.
• to identify and evaluate the risks regarding the occupational health and safety management and to assure to its employees working conditions for safe performed activities, to prevent wounds and professional illness and to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

For products manufacturing, the statutory and regulatory requirements related to quality, metrology, environmental, occupational health and safety management are applied and met.

We are committed to manufacture and to supply high quality products, meeting our clients’ requirements and increasing UZUC SA reputation, having best possible costs, minimum environmental influence and good occupational health and safety management conditions of all involved parties.

The Integrated Management System implemented for designing, fabrication and inspection of products and services is complying with client's requirements and with legal ones, for manufacturing of usual products as well as nuclear power plants equipment. The importance of compliance with these requirements is communicated and understood by whole society personnel.

The message to our customers is based on opened communication and mutual trust. Our whole activity is focused on clients quality needs and requirements, permanently searching to get beyond their expectations.

SMI is a reflection of managerial system consisting in appliance of management principles by all employees, through their involving in identification and undertaking the risks for environmental, occupational health and safety management.

I do commit myself to ensure all materials and human resources needed to provide compliance with SR EN ISO 9001:2008, SR EN ISO 14001:2005, SR OHSAS 18001:2008, SR EN ISO/CEI 17025:2005, Provisions CNCAN no. 66/2003 (NMC-02) and no. 71/2003 (NMC-07), ASME Code, Sect. III – NCA 3800, NCA 4000, standards requirements and to permanently improve the performances of Integrated Management System, which must be an active and alive system, able to provide a quick response to business environment challenges.

In this regard, SMI is periodically reviewed and continously adjusted to reference standards requirements.

I demand all the personnel of SC UZUC SA to be fully involved with Integrated Management System and to strictly respect the requirements established through this Manual, with no exemption.

By this commitment of each of us, individually and as a team, we shall ensure the soon success of this Policy.
